Jaime Martinez

Jaime has worked in technology since 1985 and leads software development teams at General Dynamics Land Systems. His security background covers disaster recovery, vulnerability management, IT audit, and security policy development. He has mentored hundreds of students and professionals across the region, holds the CISSP, CISA, CISM, CMMI, CDPSE, and PMP certifications, and serves as a reserve sergeant with the Oakland County Sheriff Department.

Ranu Parmar

Hitachi Energy

Ranu is Chief Product Security Officer at Hitachi Energy with more than 20 years in IT and enterprise security. She specializes in risk management, application security, and critical infrastructure protection, with deep experience in NERC-CIP standards for the energy sector. She co-founded both the CSA Detroit Chapter and the Women Security Alliance, holds a CISSP, and earned her MS in Information Assurance from Eastern Michigan University.

Smruti Shah

Smruti is Director of the Risk, Compliance and Delivery Division for Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget, where she implemented the state's GRC platform and oversees risk and compliance across 20 departments. She previously spent 14 years as Privacy and Security Officer for the Michigan Department of Treasury and holds CPA, CIA, and CISA credentials.

Mike Rutallie

Mike is the Founder of ValorPoint, where he helps organizations make the right cybersecurity and AI decisions before committing time, money, and risk to the wrong ones. Over the past 20 years he has built and led teams across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development in both regulated and commercial environments. He spent three years teaching cybersecurity at two Michigan colleges, serves as an officer in the Michigan Air National Guard, and holds a CISSP along with a Master of Business from Michigan State University.

Erin is a Major Account Sales Executive at Palo Alto Networks with more than 10 years in cybersecurity, focused on helping organizations build resilience and protect their data. Before security, she spent a decade as an export sales manager for a medical manufacturer, and she has called Detroit home since 2021.

Leon DuPree

CSA Detroit Board

Leon advances new program ideas and sustainable funding for the chapter, drawing on a background in cybersecurity architecture, IT audit, compliance, and secure cloud adoption. His focus is securing scholarships and designing programs that lower barriers to entry for underserved communities.
